The VHCA has two types of recurring monthly meetings:

| Combined Board and General Meetings | 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of every month | Create community awareness of and increase participation in VHCA and other VaHi events |
| Planning and Zoning | 7:00 p.m. on the Wednesday before the Board meeting | Review of variance requests and other zoning issues. |
Meetings are normally held at the Ponce de Leon Branch Library, but check the VHCA homepage (vahi.org) a few days before a meeting to check for any venue change.
Sub-committees, which include Parks, Safety, Summerfest, Fundraising, Graffiti, Voice, Tour of Homes and others, are scheduled on an as-needed basis. Sub-committee members, and residents (as needed), are notified of upcoming meetings via email.
All VHCA meetings are open to the public.
