Special Community Events on Friday, June 4, 2010  

The community/volunteers dinner and outdoor movie will be held Friday, June 4th at 7pm.

• The parade will again be on Friday night before the dinner (see details below). Prizes will be awarded for the best movie character just before the dinner.


• Bring ID to verify residency in Va-Hi. The movie this year will be "The Tale of Despereaux" and will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30pm).


• There will also be a neighborhood Acoustic Street Party at Virginia-Highland Island on Friday, June 4th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm and on Saturday, June 5 from 9:00pm to 11:00pm
  

Neighborhood Parade!
Don't miss this year's "Movie Madness" Parade! Everyone had such a good time last year, we plan to do it again. So go crazy looking like your favorite movie character and walk the parade route, down Drewery and onto Barnett (about .6 miles). We will meet at the same place, Intown Hardware (Drewry/N. Highland). It's Friday night at 6 p.m. We'll get started at 6:30 and end up at the neighborhood dinner at the Inman Park field where prizes will be given. Register online and let's have some community fun!
