Our combined Board Meetings/General Meetings take place on the second Monday of every month at 7 pm. The purpose is to create community awareness of and increase participation in VHCA and other VaHi events. All meetings are open to the public and are currently taking place in-person and online.

A Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) is a volunteer managed organization that provides input to City of Atlanta officials on matters of land use, planning (including variances & zoning), liquor licenses, and special events & festivals.

The tour, beginning and ending at the triangle at Virginia and N. Highland is conducted by 15 year Va-Hi resident and retired lawyer Jim Long on the first Saturday of every month from 10AM-12PM. It focuses on the importance of urban trees with an emphasis on the trees on the route together with a sprinkling of local history and architecture.
