On March 13, 2023, The Virginia-Highland Civic Association Board unanimously voted to recommend approval of Portman Holdings' Ponce and Ponce Mixed-Use Rezoning Application and West & East Site Plans.

The VHCA Board vote came after numerous neighborhood meetings and months of extensive negotiations between Portman Holdings and the VHCA Planning Committee (working with our consultant Aaron Fortner of Canvas Planning) and the Planning Committee's unanimous recommendation (see the committee report below).

On March 15, 2023, NPU-F followed the VHCA’s recommendation and also voted to unanimously approve the project.
