Joggers on busy streets

I received 3 e-mails this week about joggers using the streets around the Inman School in the morning while there is heavy traffic in this area what with parents dropping off kids, and school buses on the streets also. I know, I know, our sidewalks are terrible, but joggers also do have to remember they can be a serious hazard as they weave in and out of traffic. Anybody have any suggestions for dealing with this problem?
