From the Midtown Alliance website (http://midtownatl.com/about/programs-and-projects/capital-improvements/whats-new):

10th Street Cycle Track – The success of the recently-completed Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail has increased the already-high demand for bicycle facilities in Midtown.  As a result, we (the Midtown Alliance) have partnered with the City of Atlanta and the PATH Foundation to implement a dedicated two-way “cycle track” on 10th Street along Piedmont Park. The facility will connect cyclists between Midtown’s core and the BeltLine as well as to future cycle tracks on Juniper Street and Piedmont Avenue.

The Midtown Alliance website notes that Phase 1 between Monroe Drive and Charles Allen Drive is scheduled to start construction the week of July 8th “with an estimated 3-week construction period.”  The photos below, taken by VHCA President Jack White, look eastbound toward Monroe and suggest that the cycle track is substantially functional and already being used.
