The Virginia-Highland Civic Association (VHCA) will be holding annual elections in September to elect our 2024-2025 Directors. As required by the Georgia Nonprofit Corporation Code, all residents who wish to vote need to “OPT-IN” as a member to vote and participate. Your free VHCA membership is perpetual as long as you live in the neighborhood (so, if you opted-in in a previous year, you are all set).
If you no longer live in the neighborhood, please email us requesting your membership removal .

If you are interested in getting more involved in a leadership role in our neighborhood and you have some or all of the below qualifications, we welcome your submission for candidacy.
A successful VHCA board member exhibits the following qualifications:
- proven leadership
- previous board experience
- Virginia-Highland neighborhood knowledge
- community organization experience
- communications
- advocacy
- event planning
- fundraising
- community involvement.
We champion diversity within the community and the board that represents it, in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, race, disabilities, etc.
